The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is launching the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Singapore Aug. 14-16, 2010. Archery will be one of the 26 events contested at the multi-sport youth event. The international event will attract at least 5,000 athletes and officials from the 205 National Olympic Committees. The archery athletes will be between the ages of 17 and 18.
